First, we painted autumn colours and black onto thick paper. We got some leaves and printed them out onto the coloured paper by rolling them with printing ink and gold paint. We cut them out and glued them onto the collage to make tree shapes. I looked at an artist called Mark Hearld and then copied his starling. We cut it out and stuck it to the collage.
